PADDINGTON
Sydney’s fashion capital if you will. I set out today with the goal of sharing some of the trends that are blooming in Sydney at the moment. I was left disappointed.
For Australia being such a strong country in terms of the economy, politics and cuisine we are so far behind the rest of the world in terms of fashion. Geography does play a part in it, being on the complete opposite side of the world to Paris, Milan and New York its understandable being a season behind (unless if any of you are keen to be wearing your bikini for Christmas is July celebrations). But the standard of dressing is what disappointed me, lack of detail in many otherwise good clothes.
I don’t mean to be so judgemental, I mean its not a rare occasion to see me running in late to uni wearing old jeans, flip flops and a tee. My issue is that Australia as a whole seems to just be, well lazy.
As some of you may know, my new years resolution was to put more effort in to getting ready and I’m not going to lie it hasn’t really been that successful. So as of today I’m starting my resolution again (and posting it on the internet so I’m sure people will remind me when I look shit).
Moving on from may rant, here are some of my favourite outfits from today, being Sunday (and I’m very fond of lazy Sundays) I really loved the relaxed style that was going on.
This girl was absolutely blooming in her florals. Stunning
Better luck next time.

You got some nice pics but god you couldn’t be more right. My boyfriend has worked in Sydney fashion for years and he has always said, Australia is just behind the times. It’s people like you who can help make Sydney a fashion capital!
